Thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs, the Police, Security, vendors, and your great staffs for a fun evening. Chase Field is such an awesome stadium. We had fantastic seats, in Section 310, overlooking first base. The roof was closed, but the atmosphere was pleasant. The tremendous variety of food & beverage vendors inside the stadium is a huge plus, and the items are tasty and reasonably priced compared to other parks. Lovely On-Air DJ & Singer/Songwriter Kianna Martinez sang the National Anthem so beautifully! She made us, vets, proud! During games, there are plenty of family activities, festivities, people and groups honored, such as the Whataburger Whatafan Posts, Kids Take the Field, Hot Dog Derby (Relish/Sebastian won), Arizona Milk Producers Down on the Farm, Talking Stick Resort Higher-Lower Card Game, Silver Seat Cam, Cheers to Our Heros (Military), Cold Stone Creamery Celebration Messages, New Era Simba Fan Cam, Noise Meter, Cox Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; RJ won), Fry's Inning of Winning, Arizona Complete Health 7th-inning stretch. APS Electric Moments, D-Backs 50/50 Charity Raffle, etc. It is Spanish Heritage Weekend at Chase. The D-Backs started off hot once again scoring another 3 runs in the first inning. They got 2 in the 6th, as a result of 2-run homer, and 1 more in the 7th. The Cubs scored 2 runs, but they pretty much looked flat. The D-Backs ended up winning 6 to 2. Way to go, team! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Chicago Cubs, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your amazing teams.
