Rage in the Cage
Thank you, Vet Tix, Rage in the Cage - MMA - Muay Thai, Club Stratus, AZ MMA Founder Mr. Roland Sarria, MC Mr. Ryan Hollimon, coaches, fighters, referees, judges, physicians, paramedics, event coordinators, other participants, vendors, sponsors, Security, and your tremendous staffs for such a fantastic evening! Club Stratus is an incredible venue! It is my favorite for fights. For tonight's bouts, the ring was located on the stage. This allowed for more seats and a better view of the cage for everyone. We sat in row one, on a corner, about 30 feet from the ring. Wow! The food and beverages offered by the club are tasty and reasonably priced. MC Mr. Ryan Hollimon launched the evening by paying homage to all veterans, service personnel, and first responders present. Bethany Watson followed up with a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem/Star Spangled Banner. Toward the end of the night, Mr. Hollimon honored the Wounded Warrior Project. It was my friend's and my seventh time attending fights at the Stratus. What another awesome night! We watched over 3 1/2 hours of butt-kicking fun, as there were 13 monstrous bouts. Many were brutal and called by the refs in the first or second round. Needless to say, it was a shorter night than usual. One fight was for the vacant Featherweight title/belt, another was for the vacant Lightweight, and still, one was for the vacant Middleweight. An award was also presented for Knockout of the Night. Fighters hailed from all over the Southwest. I've never seen the house so full. It was wall to wall spectators. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Rage in the Cage - MMA - Muay Thai, Club Stratus, AZ MMA Founder Mr. Roland Sarria, MC Mr. Ryan Hollimon, all others, and your terrific teams for everything you do for us, vets, active military, first responders, family, and friends, as well as our communities and country.
