Thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Washington Nationals, the Police, Security, vendors, and your great staffs for a fun evening. Chase Field is magnificently beautiful. It is the best stadium I have ever seen. We had fantastic seats in Section 311, but we were allowed to sit anywhere, since the venue was not sold out. There are no bad seats in the house though. The roof was open, and the weather was gorgeous. There is a wide selection of very well-known food & beverage stations inside the stadium, which is a huge plus. During games, there are plenty of family activities and festivities, such as the Circle K Hot Dog Derby (Ketchup won), D-Backs 50/50 Charity Raffle ($36,850 to the winner), Talking Stick Resort Second Chance Game Card Match, Budweiser Cheers to Our Heros Celebration & cam, Whataburger Whatafan posts & cam, Cold Stone Creamery Celebration Messages & cam, New Era Air Guitar Fan cam, Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; Gonzo won), Fry's Food Stores Inning of Winning & cam, Arizona Complete Health 7th Inning Stretch & cam, Whataburger Fry Shuffle & cam (Clay won), APS Electric Moments Game Highlights & cam, Taco Bell We Get Tacos, etc. It was Serpientes free T-shirt Day. As usual, the National Anthem was played, and all vets were recognized. The D-backs won 8 to 7, but the Nationals scored 5 runs at the top of the 9th inning forcing the D-backs to score 2 runs at the bottom to pull it off. Needless to say, my family, friends, and I, as well as the entire stadium, were shocked every which way! In any case, it was the greatest, most nerve-wracking game I have witnessed! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Washington Nationals, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your fantastic teams.
