I'm writing to give a big Thank You to the 12th Man Foundation of Texas A&M for providing the tickets my spouse and I used to attend Bill Burr's show at A&M's Reed Arena Friday night (April 14). It was a great show! Bill Burr is pretty unique--he pokes brutal fun at everyone and everything, and is hilarious doing it! We really enjoyed being there. I received an email notification of the major event late Wednesday night but didn't see it until Thursday morning. At that point, I jumped on the offer and had my request in within 30 minutes, and was really happy to get tickets! We had a new experience getting into the concert. It was the first time we've attended a event at which Yondr phone pouches were used. It's a pretty cool way to protect the IP of artists and performers--no phones inside the venue. The only downside of that was that I couldn't get a photo inside the arena. After it was over and I got my phone back we were able to step back inside as far as the concourse, where we got a photo that shows us in front of screens that show the same NO prohibitions that flanked the stage during the show. Thanks again, 12th Man, for giving us a chance to go see this crazy comedian!
