Arizona Diamondbacks and Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases
Thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chase Field, Security, the Police, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your great staffs for a fun evening; Opening Day 2023. Fans received team towels. Chase Field is a magnificently beautiful stadium. The best I have seen. There are no bad seats in the house. We had great seats in Section 310. Although we were high up, we had an excellent view of the entire field. My friends and I were stoked. I love the fact Chase has a dome, because it keeps the temp and atmosphere comfortable when closed, otherwise it is open to let in the sunshine or a nice cool breeze. There are an incredible amount of very well-known food & beverage vendors inside the stadium, which is a huge plus. During the game, there are plenty of family activities, such as the Higher-Lower Game, Whataburger Whatafan posts, Fan Cam, Cremily T-shirt Toss, Caesar's Sportsbook, 2 Strikes Noise, 50/50 Raffle (tonight's winner received $62,757) and the Legends (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson and Luis Gonzalez) Race, etc. The National Anthem was played on a trumpet while colorful fireworks and loud blasts filled the air. An injured police officer was honored as well as all vets and members of the 63rd Fighter Squadron Panthers from Luke Air Force Base. The sad thing is, the D-backs lost 5 to 2! It was a sell-out crowd with 48,034 fans in attendance. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chase Field, Security, the Police, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your fantastic teams.
