Chicago Blackhawks - NHL
I'm providing word from one of my fellow servicemen who attended the game with me on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. My name is Jose J. Alvarez Jr, Gunnery Sergeant USMC, Retired. I had the privilege of attending the Chicago Blackhawks game with fellow veterans. Nathan Gregory, Chief Petty Officer, United States Navy, Retired invited me and a good friend of mine to attend. We watched the Chicago Blackhawks win in double overtime to the Las Vegas Golden Knights. It was a much needed get-a-away with the boys for night of camaraderie and fellowship. Chief explained that the tickets were made available through VETTIXs. I am a US Marine Veteran, I didn't realized there were organizations that provided tickets for veterans like me to sporting events and other types of events. I wouldn't have attended normally as I am financially limited. I appreciated the tickets. I mentally detoxed and enjoyed the 12 row from the rink and the outstanding view of the game. It was exciting to see the game up close and be with other vets. Again, I appreciate the opportunity and I am looking forward to the next event. Chief is wearing the VETTIX hat and Blackhawks jersey.
