Thank you Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, the NBA, Footprint Center, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, and your fantastic crews, vendors, and staffs for such a great time! It was my seventh visit to Footprint Center to watch the Suns play. Footprint Center is an awesome arena! There are no bad seats in the house. The variety of food, beverages, team gear, and services are a huge plus. The honor paid to veterans and the playing of the National Anthem, on flute, by Darren Thompson, representing the Native American Community, was a nice touch for us too. Attending a game is such a festive time for families. There are activities before and during the games, such as the Phoenix Request Live (song)/DJ Automatic, CarMax Front Row, T-shirt Time, Budweiser Zero Designated Driver Program honor, Hi-Low Game, Show Off Your Shoe Game, Happy Birthday wishes, the $10k Half-Court Shot, 4th Quarter Lights, etc. The Doya Dance Group put on the Half-time Show. The Suns Dancers danced throughout the evening. NABI (Native American Basketball Invitational) was honored, and the Suns' players recognized the indigenous peoples of Arizona as well as the Yazzi brothers. This was the 65th consecutive sell-out crowd with 17,071 in attendance. The Suns played aggressively, were great under the net, and hung tough with defense. They took the lead and never lost it beating the Spurs 115 to 94. They also clinched the playoffs! Yahoo! Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases, the NBA, Footprint Center, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, and your stupendous workers and crews, for all you do for us, military personnel, vets, and first responders.
