The opportunity to be at the game made our holiday weekend better than we could imagine. My wife and I rarely get to go to large events like this because of scheduling, so we took this chance to go to a bowl game as a gift to ourselves. Even though I come from a family of Army veterans, it was a privilege to cheer on the Midshipmen. Even though they fell just short, the game was exciting and we met some vets and future vets that made the atmosphere comfortable and fun.
