Howdy, Thanks & Gig 'em to The University of Texas Athletics -NCAA and the 15 indivuduals who donated tickets for the Texas Longhorns vs. UTEP game to Vet Tix! My wife and I both attended Texas A&M and we are die hard Aggies, but we happen to have a son who is a senior snare drummer in the Longhorn Band. We are very proud of him and enjoyed this opportunity to watch him march at halftime and see the Longhorns win against UTEP. Our son is thrilled his Horns have secured their first 2-0 start to a season since he has been a student and is looking forward to more great football results during his senior year! Thank you again for donating tickets which makes it possible for VET TIX to "give something to those who gave" through their wonderful organization. We have sent a picture of the two of us enjoying yesterday's game against UTEP in DKR Memorial Stadium. Just as the photo was taken the Longhorns scored a touchdown (you can see all the Longhorn fans around us celebrating the score!).We also got some great shots for the "memory book" of the Lonhorn Band on the field at halftime and of us with our son right after "Percussion on the Green" which takes place before the band steps off to march down Trinity for the pre-game activities. THANKS & HOOK 'EM HORNS! (Now that's BIG coming from two Aggies!)
