As a veteran and a mother of toddler twins I find that there are very limited family friendly events that I can take my kids to before their bedtime. It was such a treat to be able to take them to their first college football game. It was something that I wouldn't be able to afford to do. One of the things my service taught me with the importance of being present with your family. It is even easier to have fun family time when given these type of great opportunities. One of my injuries is TBI. It's amazing how many things that I don't remember. It means so much to me to have events with my children that I know I will remember for years to come. Thank you so much for giving us that. My husband is still active duty and it means a lot to be able to do these events.
