Music has always played a big role in our lives, from always playing in the background, to dance parties in the kitchen, concert tickets as Christmas and birthday presents"¦ Being able to attend the concert was a gift in itself but even more because the The RHCPs hold an extra special place in our hearts. Our daughter decided to follow in dads footsteps and joined the Navy. I'm one of her letter from Bootcamp she told us that her chief was playing RHCPs in the gym, during PT. It was the first music she had heard in almost two months. It brought her to tears because it was a little piece of home. We texted pictures and FaceTimed with our her during the concert - dancing and singing along to Californication. We've been separated for almost a year and attending allowed us to create another memory with her in spite of the distance. Thank you so much for your generous gift.
