Thank you Live Nation for allowing me, my wife and friends to see Guns N' Roses at MetLife Stadium. 24 years ago, to the week, I saw my first rock/metal show at Giants Stadium. It was Guns N' Roses and Metallica. It was a week before I enlisted in the Navy. That concert forever changed the way I saw and heard music and was a nice memory to hold onto while I spent the next two months struggling through boot camp. This week's show was great! Lenny Kravitz was an excellent opener and Guns N' Roses lit up the night with a scorching set list. Sunday's show brought back a lot of memories of who & where I was before joining the military and how far I've traveled to come to today.
