Thank you, VetTix, NCAA Football, Arizona State University Sun Devils, Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks, and your great staffs for a fun night out. First, let me say, this was my first time visiting Sun Devil Stadium. It won't be my last. Accompanying me was my friend, Mike, who had been to games before. Sun Devil Stadium is a fantastic arena. There are no bad seats in the house. I appreciate the open air venue, although it was still hot and humid. There are lots of well known food & beverage vendors around campus and inside the stadium, which is crested in the Tempe Butte mountains. It is absolutely gorgeous! There are many crowd-involved activities and camera searches for various antics, to liven things up and encourage fan participation, such as the Viral Video Dance Cam, Thumbs Up Cam, Flex Cam, Follow the Pitchfork, Race for Your Dinner, Fan of the Game, and Back in the Day, throughout the game. There are also contests where people can win prizes. The organization publicly honors vets, students, faculty, and community members. There are loud, colorful fireworks after the Sun Devils score touchdowns and field goals. Of course, the Star Spangled Banner was sung before the game, which was touching. The ASU Marching Band was incredible before the game and during half time. The NAU band was good as well. It is an awesome, festive, happy time for families! By the way, ASU won 40 to 3! Again, thank you VetTix, NCAA Football, Arizona State University Sun Devils, Northern Arizona University Lumberjacks, and your incredible staffs. We, veterans, truly appreciate all you do for us!
