Thanks so much to Vet Tix, the Colorado Rockies and MLB for the tix to the game. I actually planned to fly into Colorado Springs from Cleveland in order to narrate a retirement ceremony at the Air Force Academy. When I realized that "my" Guardians were visiting the Rockies, I changed my flight in hopes of attending Tuesday's game (thx again for those tix!). I spent Tuesday night near Denver but got picked up and driven to Colorado Springs. Having been blessed with Wednesday tickets too, I contacted an old Air Force friend (far left) and we made the trek north and met up with a pair of Cleveland fans I know in Denver. The fact that Vet Tix allows us to have a second city to search for events helps me enjoy sports, concerts, etc. when I travel. Heck, sometimes I am willing to travel just to attend a particular event. I must be one of the most appreciative veterans using this wonderful website. PS Another victory was nice. Looking forward to a concert in Northern Virginia on Sunday. I may even hit one outside Detroit on Saturday if tix are still available. That is one in which I would drive JUST to be there. Thx again.
