I really want to thank Texas Stars Hockey (and Vet Tix) for their donation of so many tickets to active duty military and veterans last week for the Military Appreciation Weekend. I attended the game with my son and my girlfriend and her son. The boys loved the game - they have been before and always enjoyed them - but it was even "cooler" since they loved the camo hats that were donated to veterans and their families, as well as the chance to see such an exciting game in which the Stars ended up winning and clinching a Calder Cup playoff birth! Thanks again for allowing us to attend for free! I usually buy the tickets myself when I am able, but times have been tough lately and it was nice to have a "reprieve". I plan on supporting Vet Tix whenever I am able to in the future so that other deserving veterans may participate as well. Thanks again Vet Tix! Will Hahn Round Rock, TX
