I would like to thank the Veteran Tickets Foundation Purchases group for providing me tickets to the NASCAR Cup Series Geico 500 on Sunday, April 24. Without their generosity my son Lee, a disabled veteran like myself, and I would not have been able to attend. We were able to take along two friends, one of whom is also a veteran, to assist us with travel and getting around. It was an incredible experience and we are all very grateful for this opportunity. We also got to meet a few drivers and Big Al, the mascot for the University of Alabama.
