To the Fine People of the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for the chance to see Tool on March 20th, 2022. Back in 2001, I had tickets to see Tool at the Wright State Nutter Center in Dayton, OH. That show ended up being cancelled, due to the terrorist attacks in New York that occurred on 9/11/2001. I would join the Marine Corps not long after. My active service in the Marines would end in 2013. That service would see me exit with an honorable discharge at the rank of Sergeant. I also had combat support deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan under my belt. However, I had still not seen Tool. It wasn't until 2022, over 20 years later, that the generosity of the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse would give me an affordable opportunity to see one of my favorite bands live in concert. I sincerely appreciate your donation, and thank you for helping me see a concert that I should have seen 21 years ago. Sincerely, JT Byrd
