St. Louis Blues - NHL
Went to see the St. Louis Blue play the Pittsburgh Penguins last night at the Enterprise Center with my girlfriend, Christina Carr, courtesy of the VetTixs. As you can see, they had us in a double suite with other veteran guests. It was awesome!!! VetTix's makes it possible for Active-Duty Military and Veterans' to go to concerts and sport events. The guy sitting next to me was an ex-quartermaster who served on the USS Pittsburgh which is the SSN-720, a 688-class fast attack submarine. Then behind us was an Air Force Vet. Lastly, the wife of my co-worker that went with us is a serving member of the Navy Reserves as a Seabees. It was so cool to talk and spend the evening with so many veterans and their families. The view from the double suite was fantastic. I just wish I had the words to express how grateful I am for the opportunity to watch the game from the Double Suite. I and the vets' who I spoke with last night were overwhelmed by the experience. Many of us would be unable to attend game in the style in which the St. Louis Blues treated us. So grateful!!! Thank you VetTix and the St. Louis Blues for a great evening that most of us with cherish for the rest of our lives.
