Thank you to the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl and First Responder Bowl for tickets to the game. I took my 12 year old son and this was our first college football game. The seats were wonderful as was the competition and I loved Army winning with a field goal with 3 seconds left on the clock. But, my favorite thing was how patriotic the entire event was. I am a disabled combat veteran who is about to retire after 20 years of federal law enforcement service. I don't know if tickets to this event are always available on VetTix but I hope this will not be my last Armed Forces bowl. It made me even more proud of my service and I think the Remembering the Fallen display helped put things into perspective for my young son about what service and sacrifice really mean. THANK YOU
