I never imagined it possible ... But, now, I BELIEVE! We actually saw Brooks & Dunn perform live in concert! Dreams really do come true! Thank you so much Live Nation and VetTix for this amazing opportunity! The concert was nothing short of phenomenal! They've definitely still got it! They all put on breathtaking performances! Travis Tritt was an added bonus! I was so moved by his patriotism ... I was literally brought to tears! I loved how Travis Tritt placed his hand over his heart at the end of several songs! He was so moved by the support of the audience. And, I always thought Kix Brooks was the quiet one ... Boy, was I wrong! It was great to see all of them in action. I was blown away by the energy they all have! It got a little chilly out, and the sweat was dripping off of them! They sang all their great hits and told us stories along the way. It was such a heartwarming evening, and we will cherish the memories forever! I also noticed Brooks & Dunn's lead guitarist (stayed in front, left of duo) was wearing an FNG shirt. Pretty cool! Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek is an awesome venue! I love the layout and easy access! Everyone in front of us could stand up, and they didn't obstruct our view! Live Nation staff are all so courteous, attentive, and helpful! I don't know where or how you manage to find so many incredible people, but I told them all they have the best employers! We even had an attendant and a waitress for our section. That was a first. It was fabulous! Our attendant took our photo for us, and thankfully, our VetTix masks arrived in time! I did not have a chance to change shorts before the concert. We really appreciate your willingness to relocate us to ADA seating to accommodate our limitations. I have checked all over, and I cannot find a setting to indicate our ADA needs. That would be helpful to us, as well as the Live Nation and venue staff at each event. My only concern was the drive from Charleston, WV. It was only supposed to be 5 hours 4 minutes. It ended up taking 7 hours 10 minutes! (Elvie Shane was already performing when we got to our seats.) I have never seen so much traffic, roadwork, and accidents in one trip! It was absolutely exhausting! "That Ain't No Way To Go!" When the concert was over, we made it to our vehicle, and I leaned my seat back and rested until 12:30 AM, allowing the traffic to clear out. I chugged an energy drink and hit the road. We stopped at the NC/VA state line for gas and coffee. Then, we pulled over at the first Travel Plaza in WV and napped an hour. We finally made it home safely at 7:57 AM! I would not drive that far for just anyone, but the gas is less expensive than purchasing tickets for a more local event. It was an extremely long trip, but my daughter & I agree it was more than well worth it! I can't believe we actually had this opportunity, and I honestly don't expect another like this! We extend a huge heartfelt thank you to Live Nation for providing us this once-in-a-lifetime extraordinary blessing! Somehow it just doesn't seem adequate. Just know the experience truly meant the world to us! We appreciate your ongoing and overwhelming support of Veterans and Military everywhere!
