I would like to heartily thank the University of Texas Athletics and the individuals that donated their tickets so that a US military veteran could take his family to a Longhorns football game! What a memorable night! My 10 year old son and 7 year old daughter had never been to a college football game before. We were in "enemy" territory (visitors side) and we enjoyed rooting for the home team in a sea of Bears fans. My daughter even got to be up on the Jumbotron thanks to Longhorns broadcasting and Twitter. We are so thankful there are generous people and organizations that see value in rewarding our men and women veterans for their service. And thank you Vet Tix!
