New York Yankees
I'd like to thank the New York Yankees - MLB for donating tickets to the Yankees vs. Red Sox baseball game. I am a life long Yankee fan and well-versed regarding this historic rivalry. I was so excited to attend this game. This has been the first big event I attended in a year and a half and am surprised at how much I missed attending these types of events. The energy in the stadium was electric and I spent the whole game laughing as the fans (there were a surprising number of Red Sox fans in attendance) gave each other aggressive, but good-natured ribbing. Unfortunately, the game was called at the top of the seventh, but luckily the Yankees hit back-to-back home runs prior to the game getting called so they got the win! Thank you again to the Yankees and to Vet Tix for all that you do for Veterans. You are needed now more than ever as the world attempts to get back to normal.
