Thank you for the opportunity to attend this event. Doing things like this not only helps to enrich the lives of my family members, it also allows me the opportunity to get out of the house and do something in public. Having these experiences are vital to the recovery of veterans dealing with trauma from combat. Isolation is one of the most common ways of dealing with combat related traumas and this is a way to expose veterans to being social and having fun again.
