I'd like to thank Vettix for putting together this program. It truely is an amazing program. I'd also like to thank the Anaheim Ducks for the extremely generous donation. With the donation, I was able to take my daughter to her first Ducks game for her 3rd birthday. During the warmup session my daughter received a puck from Sam Steel and a puck was offered by John Gibson. Since we had already received one puck I motioned Mr. Gibson to give the puck to one of the other children that was near by. My daughter loved the puck so much she went to sleep that night with the puck next to her on the pillow. Another staff member came to where we were seated and presented my daughter with a gift bag. I was truely impressed with the thoughtfulness of the Anaheim Ducks. Normally I would never be able to afford tickets to take my children to these type of events. You guys went above and beyond. My daughter actually said, "I love my birthday daddy." Hearing my daughter say that brought me great joy and happiness that I haven't felt much of in quite some time. I usually avoid posting pictures of my family and I online due to the nature of my experiences while serving in the Marine Corps. Once again thank you Vettix and thank you Anaheim Ducks! You guys really helped bring some light back into this Marines life. Thank you!! GO DUCKS GO!!!
