My husband and I are new to Vet Tix. He is active duty and I am a veteran, and we have five children as a blended family. We have one child in college and a medically fragile child so we don't have a lot of extra money for expensive dates. Last night we saw John Mellencamp through Vet Tix and it was simply amazing! Thank you so much AEG Live-New York - I cannot express how much this meant to us. My husband was deployed for 9 months last year it was hard on our family. I grew up half an hour from John's hometown so he was a musical staple growing up, and I have always wanted to see him. When I heard a couple of months ago that John Mellencamp was coming to town, I looked online to find tickets and they were $125. Each. There was NO way. Then a couple of weeks ago I was in the hospital with our child for some testing and got the email that tickets were available. I could not believe it. My husband was underway so I accepted the tickets and we had an amazing time together. I cannot say thank you enough. Thank you, Vet Tix!! Thank you AEG Live - New York. Thank you.
