Wow! What a great concert. Stephanie Quayle started it off, at 4:00. She's good. Lucas Nelson followed her, with POTR. Willie's son is second fiddle to no one when it comes to his lightning fast guitar riffs, which exploded from his '54 Gibson Les Paul Jr. He's a gifted guitarist. Alison Krauss was up next. And what more can I say. It was Alison Krauss. Fiddle and all. Iwas mesmerized. Bonnie Raitt played the bridge set between Alison and Willie. She's still the rock and roll queen of country. Willie Nelson and Promise of The Real performed the final set, with Lucas, once again, on lead guitar. I've loved Willie's music for many years, and it was a delight to finally see him live. I wasn't disappointed. He played until 10:40. That's right. 10 hours andd 40 minutes of music, broken up by short breaks between acts so the roadies can rearrange the stage. Thanks, Vet Tix. My wife and I had a great evening.
