What an incredible night. I had the opportunity to attend the George straight concert at Gillette Stadium and spend a few hours listening to the music of a country music legend. My night began by attending this concert with a retired combat veteran who rarely attends events, who also happens to be my brother-in-law. A very nice surprise. My night continued when we never reached our seats due to the location and his mobility issues, but it did not seem to matter. Where we landed, we were surrounded by military families, veterans and first responders who joked, laughed and sang with us through 4 different performances and a 6 hour show. Everyone braved the heat and then the severe thunderstorms and rain that rolled in and we were all rewarded when the keys to a new home were gifted to a Gold Star Servicemember and his family by the Wrangler National Patriot Program and their donors and sponsors of which George Strait is the spokesman. I hope this portrays a sense of what an incredible night this was and why it seemed as if not a single person wanted to leave. There are not enough words to convey my gratitude for a magical evening I will long remember and we will never forget. Thank you to Vettix, Ticketmaster and especially our generous donor Mr. Ralph Mitchell. Please continue to do what you do, It makes a difference. Humbled & Grateful
