Our son was born with a club foot that required us to drive to Scottish Rite hospital 4 days a week, 45 miles one way, where we did an hour of physical therapy. Already a family of six, we then drove home to keep our day going. We started when he was 3 weeks old and he did therapy up to the age of 2. Every time we got in the car we played Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" it was our daily anthem. He is now 15 years old, and to stand in that concert with our son who now has a beautiful "fine fixed foot" and sing WITH the American icon was a priceless moment! Those were some of the toughest days of our lives, (even with all of our military struggles) and singing along in the car made them feel like it would be okay. Our family cannot thank you enough! The whole day of artists and music was a blast, but seeing Willie in person was a memory that we will cherish forever. It felt like we were able to thank him for his song and what it meant to our family. There just aren't words Vet Tickets, thank you just isn't enough.
