Sloan Park - Spring Training
Thank you to VetTix and the person(s) responsible for such a great time! Monday was my wife's (Stephanie) and my first spring training game ever. We went to watch the Cubs play at Sloan Park with some friends (Tony and Kathy) from Chicago, so it was a big treat. Some of the greats were there signing autographs and taking pics, like Bill Buckner and Lee Smith (former Red Sox players), Bob Dernier, Pete LaCock, Rick Sutcliffe, and others. I am a Red Sox fan, having grown up in Massachusetts, so this was icing on the cake for me. If that weren't enough, my wife won a raffled off Cubs Adirondack chair signed by Lee Smith. On top of it all, the Cubs won. Oh, yeah, that foot long hot dog was to die for. It was a fantastic day! I just wish I could post more pictures. Next stop, the Diamondback's opening weekend hosting my Red Sox. Go Bosox! Thank you, once again, for an awesome time! Chuck
