Sharon and I send our sincere thanks to The Barrett-Jackson Company for their generous donation of tickets for us to attend the Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale on Monday, January 14, 2019. We thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to observe the auction process and to watch the cars go on the podium and receive bids from the prospective buyers. Even more entertaining was the opportunity to wander through the tents filled with very valuable and rare automobiles that were awaiting their turns to go on the auction block on succeeding days after our visit. I saw many automobiles that, as a young man, I had hoped to be able to buy one day but never did. It brought back many fond memories of our high school and college years when the muscle cars of the late 60s and early 70s were very popular. Thanks so very much for the opportunity for us to walk down memory lane while looking at early editions of the Corvette and Mustang to which we aspired to own. It was a great day. The transportation to and from the parking area was exceptional and made for ease of entry and departure. It is one of the most well organized events we have had the opportunity to attend. We loved the day!
