Much thanks to VetTix. I have rarely used any of the great programs that are out there for Veterans. I decided to use Vet Tix though because it is so well organized and offers such an incredible benefit on what are normally crazy prices for sports tickets. I took my wife, adult son and his girlfriend to the game. What a blast. The arena seats were great and best yet we sat near some other veterans from Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam and even a WWII vet. I served in Desert Storm/Shield. I can tell you singing the National anthem was really cool and special being surrounded by my brothers and sisters. The last time my son went to a hockey game with me was when he was 8, 15 years ago. Man it was great to spend the time with my son, who is now graduated from college and a man. My wife totally enjoyed the game and now wants a hockey shirt. My sons girlfriend had never been to a hockey game and is now a fan. Best yet the Coyotes smoked the Canucks 4-1. What a great night, thanks to everyone who made it possible!
