Thank you to Vettix.org once again for providing the opportunity to catch a great NHL game with about 400 of my fellow military personnel. I took my wife (huge Avs fan) to the Pepsi Center to go on a date night to see the Avs take on the Lightning. What a game! Although this was not a Hero of the Game event, it was great to see the Pepsi Center and the Avs Team and Management go through great lengths to provide a wonderful night dedicated to the troops. At each intermission, there was military-focused events, and we even witnessed several new military members take their oath of enlistment on center ice--VERY IMPRESSIVE! I don't have the words to express how much this meant to me, my wife, and the rest of the military members in attendance. So instead, please accept a heartfelt "thank you" to all of the personnel who helped make all of us (the troops) feel welcome, at home, and engaged with Denver!
