I went to UFC 7 in September of 1995. It was my last major entertainment event I attended before going to boot camp in the US Marine Corps, and the last UFC event I was able to attend until this one. My wife and I had our 18th wedding anniversary last month and due to being on a fixed income (and my wife being sick at the time) we bought school supplies for our kids and didn't get to celebrate. We didn't even go to dinner. I have wanted to go to every UFC that has been in Texas since we moved here 10 years ago, but couldn't. Thanks to the American Airlines Center's donation to VetTix, we were able to attend UFC 228 almost exactly 25 years after my first one and celebrate a belated anniversary. It was her first UFC. I was able to talk to some fellow veterans and we both had a great time. Thank you for your donation of tickets to our veterans and especially for such great seats.
