Thank you Vettix and American Royal Association for these tickets. Normally I would say we had a great time. I hate to complain about what you guys do for us veterans. However, the event and info was slightly misleading I have been to other BBQ and chili cook offs before and they typically offer samples from the different competitors as well as some that set up to sell food. However, this event offered samples for 8 vendors and you had to pay $30 per person to get all 8 samples. SAMPLES! And there were no vendors selling food. Only drinks. So basically, the ticket was to walk around on the track infield and smell BBQ. Now, that being said, there WAS a car show and little games for kids to play. But i drove from Texas to Kansas City for this event. And once i got the tix, there was no changing my mind even if I had gotten more specific info because Vettix said if I didn't submit a pic of myself at the event my account would be suspended. EVEN THOUGH I submit pics of myself at every event. Always. So thank you.
