Dear Vettix. Wow!!! What an awesome day. The Daytona Speedway did a phenomenal job of recognizing and honoring our Active Military, Veterans, and 3 Medal of Honor recipients. There were also hundreds of Vets in my seating section and I made a number of new friends. Having my daughter and grandson with me was a special treat. I can't begin to properly thank the Speedway who made this day possible for my family, but from my heart, thank you. As a retiree living on Social Security I can't even dream of attending events like this. Having the Daytona Speedway just allowing us to attend is amazing. But then to treat us the way you did was beyond description. I saw lots of 'damp eyes' at various times in the military appreciation parts of the program. And then, to top it off, what a great race! We are still on 'cloud 9' after this memorable day. Thank you, thank you, thank you. God bless America!
