Sir/Ma'am, This event was so much more than just a hockey game. I am a 100% disabled veteran, and have PTSD. So going to an event like this is difficult. But for the first time since returning, I went out with two Army buddies. We recently moved to the Detroit area after being donated a home through a non-profit. I am originally from PA, so this was a game of my home town team, and my new home town team. When reading this, it doesn't sound nearly as impactful as it actually was for me. I can't thank you enough for donating these tickets and helping me to not only have an enjoyable evening, but to help in my recovery by facing an arena full of people. Thank you for the generous donation of the 5 tickets that allowed me to bring my family out for a great night together. This time was a much needed experience a few months prior to a deployment that will take me away from them for the next year. Sometimes these little things help way more than words can explain.
