Thank you so much VeT Tix and a generous donor that treated my family to the BSO with Gabriella Montero. It was fantastic and I was so happy to take my daughter that was always on the pier when my Navy ships were departing or arriving. I told her the concert was a gift from someone who understood her sacrifices. It was great and I thank you for the experience. Madera Family

Out at a symphony performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-Flat Minor that was composed in 1874. This orchestra is simply amazing; they are so big, bold, talented, animated, and raw. They have violins, cellos, oboes, harps, bass, french horns, flutes, percussions, and feature a world renowned pianist that is the main attraction. I really feel privileged to be able to see my very first full symphony concert. Trust me when I tell you that this is an EXPERIENCE. I think I'm going to attend more this year and try to get exposed to a few operas as well. Getting out of my comfort zone and away from my surroundings feels good. It was so empowering though to walk in and command the attention of the audience to my orchestra section almost front row center seats and I'm not even a musician as they watched me glide confidently to my seat.
