Thank you Long Beach Symphony and VetTix. We had a great time listening to songs that were in movies and on TV, performed by a full Orchestra. Hearing the Mission Impossible theme performed by such amazing musicians was fantastic. As were the others. The choice of Nightmare Before Christmas and the different Star Wars movies, was something else. The conductors narration added to the performance.

Thank you Vet-Tix and Long Beach Symphony, Saturday night was a lot of fun. I stopped at Will Call to claim the tickets and got the welcome surprise that we were going to be sitting at the tables on the floor. Then we were greeted by a member of the team that remembered talking to us last season when I mentioned being a member of Vet-Tix and she thanked us for coming again. Once inside, we found a table and started in on our picnic dinner we brought to enjoy. While waiting for the concert to begin we had one of the photo tablet girls come by and captured the moment for us nicely. The symphony pops music selection was great. We had so much fun listening and sharing the music. Another part that made it so special was that in the last year we had seen the song writers perform 2 of the selections played so those brought back more memories. We got to see veterans we met at previous concerts to catch-up along with meeting a new veteran family that drove down from Bakersfield to enjoy the evening as well. We went to the POPS concert in the Long Beach Arena, a large, circular venue. We got there about an hour ahead of time and brought food and wine to eat and share at round dinner tables,,,,,a delight Music from movies was performed by the Pops symphony orchestra and done very well and we had a great time thanks to the generosity of the Long Beach Symphony.
