Narrows Center for the Arts
It’s time once again for me to “sing the praises” of The Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, MA, especially after having had the privilege to attend Reverend Horton Heat’s rockabilly revival there on Thursday, September 10th. There was plenty of “fire” generated by both Reverend Heat and his band mates, as well as their opener Messer Chups (who are clearly a better export of St. Petersburg, Russia, than the current Russian president), but absolutely no “brimstone” (since that might imply that they stunk, which was definitely NOT the case). I’m so grateful for the generous donation of tickets by the good folks at The Narrows, which allowed me and other veterans to experience another fantastic evening of music in their fabulous venue. The Narrows Center for the Arts is truly a blessing for their community, and I would like to offer them continued success as they celebrate 25 years of fulfilling their mission to provide “Music that Matters, Art that Inspires, and Commitment to Community.” Thanks so much!
