I’m grateful for the generosity of the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra for donating tickets that allowed me and other veterans to attend their rousing performance at the newly renovated Zeiterion Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 18th. Both the NBSO and the Zeiterion are now newly discovered gems for me! And the name of the night’s show — The Human Element — couldn’t be more important to me as a veteran, because it is The Human Element, our connection to and community with one another, that (as noted by former VA psychiatrist Jonathan Shay) is so important to our recovery and mental health. Thanks so much for a glorious evening of live music at a fantastic venue with wonderful people!
