Many thanks to the University of North Carolina for the generous donation of a ticket to allow me to attend today’s basketball game between the Lady Tar Heels and the Cal Bears. This is my first visit to historic Carmichael Arena, and I couldn’t be more pleased to start my new year here. I loved the energy of the crowd and the fact that this was a very family friendly oriented event. There were many young children who will remember this as a core memory in their lives. Many thanks also to the very friendly UNC staff. I felt very welcomed from the moment I entered the arena until the moment I left. I just relocated to the Triangle area and I hope to attend many more UNC events, including women’s basketball, in the future. This veteran thanks you once again for helping to get the new year off to a fantastic start. Let’s Go Heals!!!
