Dear Vet Tix and UNLV Rebels Thank you for the tickets to our first game ever! We went in the pouring rain--such a strange thing for a November afternoon in Las Vegas. We walked from the parking to the stadium in the rain, rivers of water soaking our shoes, socks, pants. We did look like drowned rats when we got there. We were wet and cold. What did we find inside? Hope, joy, kindness, fun, young students being helpful and kind to the older folks. What a way to warm up--it just warmed our hearts. We had a fun time, had some good hotdogs and drinks and we were so glad we went. We were close to not going due to the downpour. Thanks again for helping the older vets get out there and keep going! Rebel fans for sure! :-)
