Veteran Tickets Foundation thank you for the opportunity to attend the San Antonio Spurs basketball game! It really gave me the chance to enjoy the team I love during a time of financial uncertainty. As a veteran and a government employee, I’m currently impacted by the government shutdown and have been really struggling with the stress of it all, not knowing when I’ll get my next paycheck and facing bills and food shortage. But going to the Spurs game gave me some relief from those stressors, let me enjoy life for a few hours, and helped to recharge me so that I can continue to move forward day-by-day through this challenging period.
