To the group , “Exceptional Artists”, who donated this ticket for me to see Nitty Gritty Dirt Band perform Live In Concert at the Saginaw Dow Event Center. I am truly grateful that you donated these tickets for Veterans via VetTix, and that I myself was able to receive one of these tickets. I vividly remember being with my Mom in the family car in 1987, I was a young child in elementary school at the time. I vividly remember my first hearing the sound of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band singing, and it was the sound of their newly released song: “Fishin’ In The Dark “ that truly took the airwaves of radio in the most epic fashion leading the song, in my opinion, to be the most famous and ‘Iconic’ Song for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. I have learned thru the chapters of my life that the most important thing of Life is when we are able to share any and every experience with someone by our side, as it is the shared experiences that hold the greatest meaning. I vividly remember learning this thru these incredibly visual lyrics of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band singing their famous song “ Fishin’ In The Dark “. While attending this amazing concert, I was able to learn this concert was part of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band’s Farewell Tour, and I again thank you for donating these tickets for Veterans, and that I myself was able to see the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band perform Live. It truly was an amazing evening and concert. Thank You.
