My wife, a Jacksonville native, was absolutely floored by the local ties referred to during the evening. Her family served as part of the war effort here in Jax. The emotion was intense and the tears flowed freely. A very memorable night for us both. A huge heart felt Thank You!

To Women’s Board of Wolfson’s Children’s Hospital— Thank you so much for the tickets to this magnificent evening! It was powerful, poignant and dramatic. I learned some things about the period of time from D-Day to VE Day, most notably the story of the soldier (Jerry) who landed on Utah beach actually being the famous author, JD Salinger. The entire program brought tears to my eyes. The Jax Symphony, Mr. Monsky and all 4 presenters were top notch. Again, we much appreciated this amazing program.
