I had literally just flown in from a 2-month long deployment on a sub – and my wife picked me up from the airport with two of our kids and we headed straight to the concert. It was the perfect way to reconnect as a family after so much time apart, and to be able to do it at such a great event made it even more special. Thank you, VetTix donors, for creating moments like this. After months of separation with no communication, having the chance to enjoy a night of country music together reminded us of the joy and normalcy we fight to protect. Your generosity truly means the world to military families like mine.
