A Triumphant Return to the Stage: Heart's "Royal Flush" Tour After a period of uncertainty, the legendary rock duo of Ann and Nancy Wilson have returned to the stage, proving that rock and roll resilience is not just a lyric—it’s a way of life. The "Royal Flush" tour, a triumphant homecoming for the sisters, is a powerful and emotional journey through Heart's iconic catalog, reminding both long-time fans and new listeners why they are rightfully in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The show begins with a potent statement, opening with "Bebe Le Strange" and immediately launching into a mix of hard-rocking classics and fan favorites. The setlist is a masterfully curated blend of the '70s anthems that defined the band and the slick '80s power ballads that brought them a new wave of success. Hearing tracks like "Crazy on You" and "Barracuda" performed with the same raw energy as decades ago is an electrifying experience, a testament to the band’s enduring power. A particularly moving highlight of the evening is a mid-show acoustic set. The band gathers at the front of the stage for a more intimate performance of songs like "Dog & Butterfly," showcasing the delicate harmonies and intricate musicianship that are often overshadowed by their hard-rocking hits. This segment also features a beautiful acoustic cover of Led Zeppelin's "Going to California," a heartfelt nod to one of their greatest influences. The sisters' love for Led Zeppelin is a recurring theme, with other Zeppelin covers like "The Ocean" making their way into the set. But the true heart of this tour is the Wilson sisters themselves. Despite facing recent health challenges, Ann Wilson's voice remains a force of nature. She hits those signature high notes with a power and emotional depth that defy time. Her presence, commanding yet gracious, is the anchor of the performance. Complementing her is Nancy Wilson, a true rock icon in her own right. Her guitar work—from the unmistakable opening riff of "Crazy on You" to the intricate melodies of the acoustic songs—is as sharp and fiery as ever. Her solo dedication to the late Eddie Van Halen, "4 Edward," is a touching and impressive display of her skill. The "Royal Flush" tour is more than just a concert; it's a celebration of perseverance, legacy, and the timeless power of rock music. Heart's triumphant return is a gift to their dedicated fans, a powerful reminder that their music is as vital and relevant as ever. Thank you Goldenvoice, VetTix.org and Pechanga Arena staff for your help.

Thank you Goldenvoice, Vet Tix and Pechanga. Let me start by saying we didn’t know, and were pleasantly surprised, that Todd Rundgren would be the opening act. Great guitarist, great vocals. Then there was Heart. Wow, wow, wow. Amazing. They hooked us on “These Dreams,” and blew the crowd away with “Crazy On You.” Everybody was on their feet, cheering, singing and dancing. The vocals were still perfect after all this time. They kept it up with following song and tore the roof off with “Barracuda.” One of the best concerts ever. Classic! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
