Big thank you to the Southern Methodist University Mustangs (SMU) for supporting veterans and giving us the chance to catch the Mustangs take on the Stanford Cardinals! It was a perfect Dallas TX day, sunny skies, great energy, and a solid Mustangs win. Our seats were right near the student section, which made it even better. Awesome to see the students having such a great time, bringing nonstop energy and cheering on their team. The SMU cheerleaders were fantastic too, all over the field and end zone, keeping the crowd hyped from start to finish. Even better, a good friend of mine has a son on the team, so we headed to the Weber Center after the game and got to see him, congratulate him, and take a tour of the facility (which was seriously impressive). We wrapped it all up with some tailgating at Main on Main, hanging with friends I’ve known for over 30 years. Couldn’t ask for a better day.
