Thank you for the tickets! My wife and I love the musical, and we were excited to see the amphitheatre's showing of the movie. We weren't fully expecting the extra stuff on top of the sing-along aspect, but it made it more fun and enjoyable.

What a magical night!!! We had the best time at the UCSD Wicked musical. This is a new amphitheater and the sound and lighting were superb. To our surprise it was an interactive sing along. They gave us props and kids and adults wore customs. They had three singers in performing all the songs and they encouraged everyone to dance. Of course we did. Felt like a kid again. Loved it. Thank you donors for this amazing experience.

If you're a fan of Broadway, musicals, or just a good old-fashioned communal experience, the "Wicked Singalong" is an absolute must-see! I recently had the pleasure of attending, and it was an evening filled with pure joy, soaring vocals (from the audience!), and a palpable sense of shared enthusiasm for one of the most beloved musicals of our time. From the moment the lights dimmed and the iconic opening notes of "No One Mourns the Wicked" filled the theater, the energy was electric. What makes the singalong format so special is the freedom it gives the audience to truly participate. No more silently mouthing the words from your seat – here, you're encouraged, even celebrated, for belting out every note with abandon. The lyrics were helpfully displayed on screen, ensuring everyone, from the seasoned "Wicked" veteran to the casual fan, could join in. Especially when the many “ princesses” were encouraged to sing and dance with the movie. The beauty of "Wicked" lies not just in its catchy tunes but also in its powerful story and unforgettable characters. Singing along to "Popular" with a theater full of fellow Glinda fans, or feeling the collective emotion during "Defying Gravity," added an entirely new layer of immersion. It felt less like watching a show and more like being part of a massive, spontaneous cast. Thank you Art Power UC San Diego, the staff at the Epstein Theater, and VetTix.org for a fun evening.
