Because of your kindness, I was able to take my son to see his favorite band - an experience that meant the world to both of us. As a proud United States Marine Corps veteran, I know the value of service and sacrifice. My son has faced more than his fair share - he has special needs and lost his father, my husband, a few years ago. In the midst of grief, he has found comfort and connection in music, and Metallica quickly became a powerful source of strength for him. Seeing him light up at the concert, singing along and completely immersed in the moment, was something I'll never forget. Huge thanks to Live Nation for the Metallica M72 tickets! I brought my two older kids with my wife and I, and we had an absolute blast. We spent the drive cranking old Metallica tracks, grabbed some merch, and then lost our voices singing along to Master of Puppets and Enter Sandman. Seeing their faces when the lights went up is a memory I will hang on to for a long time. Your generosity turned a regular Sunday into one of those family stories we will be telling for years. Really appreciate everything you do for vets and their families.
